Aim: To deepen your knowledge about the importance of following rules and instructions in the  workplace and in a learning environment.

Description: The world would be in complete chaos if no one ever followed rules and instructions. That is why rules and instructions are made, so our world can run smoothly and become a better place.
It is very important to follow instructions and rules in your workplace, because without directions, and the ability to obey given rules/instructions, many unnecessary or unwarranted side effects may occur. This is a basic condition of not only a professional and learning environment, but also of everyday life. This exercise has two parts. The first part will help you to understand the importance of rules and instructions in a successful working and learning environment. In the Second part you will fulfil some tasks which will help you to improve your ability to follow instructions and abide by rules.

Learning outcomes: 

Completing this exercise will enable you to:

  • Understand the importance of following rules and instructions in a working/learning environment;
  • Understand that following rules and instructions is essential for the right development of any company;
  • Improve your ability to follow instructions and abide by rules.
